Robert Rosenbloom, President and CEO (click for details)

Robert is a seasoned entrepreneur having successfully launched and built three different Internet / digital media companies. He has a proven track record developing strong management teams, implementing corporate, financial and operating policies, and establishing important industry partnerships that helped build companies to highly profitable leadership positions. Robert is considered one of the leading experts in the virtual event industry, having been interviewed or quoted by such media outlets as ABC World News Tonight, New York Times, BusinessWeek, CBS, Fox, NBC, USA Today and The Washington Post.

Prior to PlatformQ, Robert was a co-founder of iCongo, Inc., a leading collaborative ebusiness systems provider, where he was responsible for all sales, marketing, and business development activities. Robert established and managed relationships with many of the firm's key customers and partners, including The PGA of America, The National Hockey League, The Timberland Company, Callaway Golf, AOL Time Warner, IMG (International Management Group), AMR Research and many others.

Robert was early advisor and served on the Board of Directors for Navic Networks, the leading addressable advertising and interactive television technology provider to the cable and direct broadcast satellite television industry. The company was acquired by Microsoft in June 2008.

Prior to iCongo and Navic Networks, Robert was Director of Corporate Finance for Primedia Inc., the business-to-business media and publishing company backed by Kohlberg Kravis and Roberts ("KKR"). During his three years with the company, Robert helped Primedia raise over $1 billion and was involved in the company's acquisition program. He was also actively involved in shaping Primedia's initial Internet business strategy.

Robert is a graduate of McGill University and received his MBA from Columbia Business School.

Hal Garnick, Chairman (click for details)

For 25 years, Hal Garnick has had a successful track record of acquiring, financing, developing and operating a number of commercial real estate entities, including HCG & Associates, Inc., HCG Properties Inc., and the CGI Companies. Over the years, Hal has been involved with marketing, sales and operating activities for his various partnerships and companies. Hal helped to set HCG and CGI's overall strategic direction, financial goals and corporate policies and was responsible for developing, managing and maintaining relationships with key investors and financial institutions. He also helped in recruiting and building the original management and operating team. Hal and his affiliated companies have owned and operated over 45 commercial properties.

Prior to HCG & Associates and the CGI Companies Hal worked at Main Street Realty Associates (a company which owned seventy-two properties) with the responsibilities of acquiring, financing and developing its real estate.

Hal is Chairman of Children's Hospital Heart Council and a member of Children's Hospital Board of Overseers. He is also a member of the Executive Board of the Anti-Defamation League in New England and an Associate Commissioner of ADL Nationally. In addition, Hal is a Board Member of the Harvard Medical School Osher Institute and the American Jewish Committee. Hal is a graduate of Boston University's School of Management.

Chris Charron, Chief Operating Officer (click for details)

For over 10 years, Chris has served as a thought leader in emerging consumer technologies – as an advisor to large and small companies, a consultant, analyst, and entrepreneur.

Prior to PlatformQ, Chris served as a Group Vice President and leader of the Marketing and Business Strategy Practice at Forrester Research, where he led a team of 65 analysts covering the impact of technology on television, music, sports, consumer devices, mobile, games, business information, newspapers, and marketing. His specific expertise focused on digital business models for media companies —online subscriptions, advertising, and commerce — as well as social computing, the growing trend of peer-to-peer applications and services like social networks, blogs, mashups, widgets, podcasting, and P2P content distribution. Over his 9 years with Forrester, he authored or edited over 100 reports and was quoted extensively by such media outlets as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Financial Times, Business Week, National Public Radio, and CNBC, to name a few. He has also been honored as a keynote speaker at internationally known events such as The World Newspaper Congress and AdAsia.

Prior to joining Forrester, Chris was a product manager for Vertigo Development Group, a provider of interactive and online financial planning software. While at Vertigo, Chris managed the development of interactive products for business and financial luminaries such as stock-picker Peter Lynch and management expert Tom Peters.

Chris is also a former bond trader for Salomon Brothers (where he was a member of the famed "Liar's Poker" training class, immortalized by best-selling author Michael Lewis). He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School.
